2025. And we begin with the best 10 to 12 year old baseball players in the country descending on South Williamsport, Pennsylvania, for the start of a summer tradition.

It's the Little League World Series, which starts today and ends with the championship game on August 24th.

Twenty teams are competing, ten from the U.S. and 10 from other countries. And while most of the

attention will be on the diamond, downtime is spent sledding on cardboard on the hill overlooking

Lamaddy Stadium. It hasn't been officially announced, but the Little Leaguers will likely be joined

by Big League guest sliders from the Mets and Mariners when they face off Sunday in the

annual Little League classic, which, as one pro coach told ESPN, is a one-day reminder of why

they fell in love with the game in the first place. There's no talk about swing decisions or

analytics. There's nothing about money. You're thinking, I remember when it was this fun.
