The people that are leaders on your team have to be committed to doing things the right way.

You can't be the God of Boxing, the meeting late, you can't be the God that's missing class.

You've got to set a good example, be somebody that everybody else on the team can emulate.

Because that's the only way they're going to respect you when you stand up and speak and try to get people to follow you,

to do the things that you need to do.

Listen, guys that I want in this program are guys that love to compete.

Whether it's fair or not, whether a lot of people like it or not, there's a scoreboard in life and football and everything.

We shouldn't run from that, we shouldn't brace that.

And I want guys that are at their best when they shift their down and we need to compete.

I just have an attitude every day that can be your best friend and your worst enemy.

And the great part about it, you get to choose that. It's a choice.
