And we begin with, Scotland hanging out the help wanted sign for budding monster hunters.

Later this month, the country's Loch Ness Center will hold the biggest search in 50

years for its elusive lake creature, and it's looking for volunteers to assist.

The center intends to fly drones with infrared cameras above the lake, while also sinking

a hydrophone to pick up nessy-like noise under the water.

Recruited monster hunters will be asked to watch the surface for suspicious movements.

The legend of Loch Ness began in 1933 when a hotel manager said she saw a whale-like

creature in the water.

The editor of the local paper described it as a monster, and the myth was born.

A famous photo of nessy from 1934 is now largely considered a hoax, and despite lots of reported

sighting since, the week.com says no conclusive evidence of the monster has ever been found.

For the best of America's athletes, this weekend saw both the thrill of victory and the

agony of defeat.

First the latter, as the two-time defending champion U.S. women's national soccer team

is headed home.

Yesterday morning's knockout game, against Sweden in the round of 16, came down to penalty

kicks, and while the deciding shot only crossed the line by a millimeter, so small it had

to be confirmed by a video referee, it was enough to give Sweden the win and prompt the

earliest World Cup exit for the American women in the program's history.
