Today is Monday the 6th of August 2018 and we begin

with heat records dropping like beads of sweat across much of Europe. It's been a long

historically hot summer there and this weekend

especially so. Temperatures in Spain and Portugal topped out at more than

110 degrees and the heat has been so extreme in Sweden that its highest peak is now only its second highest.
