This Monday, August 2, 2021, and we begin with another remarkable display of Olympic spirit

and good sportsmanship.

It came Sunday night in Tokyo when two high jumpers had beaten everyone except each other.

The judges told Cutters Muta's Barsham and Italy's Gianmarco Tumbari it was time for

a tiebreaker, otherwise known as a jump-off.

Instead, the two rivals took a quick glance at each other, then did something that's

never been done in the history of Olympic high jumping.

They opted to share the gold.
