chessboard and explained to her how things through the looking glass worked.

She would have to travel across the board, which were each owned

by a different denizen of that strange land, where when she reached the end, Alice herself

would become a queen. All really interesting stuff but utterly useless information in Disney's Alice in

Wonderland as there's no looking glass, no chessboard, and no red queen.

In Disney story, Alice just left the Garden of Living Flowers

having received an education on some of the wildlife in Wonderland, been

treated to a pleasant song, and then abused, insulted, and tossed out on her ear under suspicion of being a common weed.

Hey I'll you. Now in the book Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, Alice had not visited talking flowers,

but had just escaped the White Rabbit's house where she had to run pretty much for her life from several creatures of Wonderland who had mistaken her for a monster.

When she reached the woods, she was accosted by a giant puppy and when she got out of that

predicament she started looking around for something anything she could eat to

return herself to her normal size and the book reads Alice looked all around her at the flowers and the blades of grass, but she could not see anything that looked like the right thing to eat or drink under the circumstances.

There was a large mushroom growing near her, about the same height as herself, and

when she looked under it and on both sides of it and behind it, it occurred to her that she might

as well look and see what was on top of it. She stretched herself up onto
