Jeff Macolino Macolino Macolino podcast, hey everybody, welcome to the latest and greatest

0:28.7

episode of the Jeff Macolino podcast. Very excited for this one. This is one of the guests I probably

0:37.0

spent more time than almost any other guest. Let's say researching him and mainly that was because I

0:44.9

could not stop watching his YouTube videos. Brad Goss is a, we'll say a children's book author,

0:51.7

though these children's books are not exactly ones that you would probably have your children read,

0:57.8

especially not your small children. Some very funny, funny things he will hang on throughout the

1:06.6

episode and you will hear him read one of his excellent books to me. He has jingles that go with all

1:13.7

of them. It's great. Thanks so much to Brad for coming on because and thanks for, you know, I

1:21.6

mentioned in my intro and outro last week, I was suffering from the flu. Well, I recorded this

1:27.2

episode kind of day one of the flu. I was, I woke up, I want to say it like 130. I ended up throwing

1:40.4

up a few hours before this podcast recording. Honestly, I poured myself a drink for this mainly

1:49.9

because it, it helped my throat a little bit. I think I stopped drinking immediately after this

1:57.5

and then I was basically unconscious for three to four days or I don't remember much because I had

2:04.7

a high fever. So the, the health was not very lucky for this, but I had a great guest who was able to

2:13.4

honestly kind of carry this episode a little bit here. So I don't think he was aware I was battling,

2:22.7

but I apologize to him afterwards. I think I did a pretty good job editing out most of my coughing

2:30.1

after the fact. I thanked him for bearing with me as I coughed in his ear constantly for an hour.

2:36.9

He said, Hey, no problem to me. I'm not the one editing the audio. Like, Oh, no. Fortunately,

2:43.3

it wasn't, wasn't too terrible. I did a good job of holding my coughs for moments of silence,

2:49.9

not in the middle of him speaking or anything. So bear with me if I cough a couple times in this episode.

2:59.8

And yeah, otherwise, I'll see you on the flip side. Enjoy this episode with me and Brad Goss.
