think about it as coaches, we spend a lot of time working with our clients on strategy as well as mindset.

But a lot of what we do really comes down to recognizing and helping clients,

And so as Renee and I were talking about this, you know, it's funny.

As black women in particular, we realize there are stories that we carry internally,

but there are also narratives that exist outside of us that still shape and guide and really direct our attention, our energy,

and our efforts. Absolutely. And it is Black History Month. And so it is particularly present in our

minds, you know, where we've been, where we are now.

And in preparing for this podcast, I came across this quote, what's past is prologue.

And that is from Shakespeare's play, The Tempest, and it was used by one of the characters to suggest that all that had happened before led him and another character to do what they were going to do, which was commit murder.
