And Alex is one of the most technically gifted and driven anglers of his generation and he's

caught some of the finest carp the UK has ever produced.

Alex, thank you very much for coming in mate and I'm saying that particularly because

I feel quite privileged that we've got you in.

But at the end of what has been a pretty memorable spell of angling for you, haven't we?

Yeah.

Well, don't feel privileged.

I'm just another guy, mate.

But yeah.

No, but you're a guy who's had a hell of six weeks, I would say.

Yeah, the summer's been amazing.

It's gone really well, gone to plan, I suppose, you know.

Fished really hard.

Fortunately, I had a bit of time off, and things have come together, you know.

Often, even when you're doing a lot of time on these hard lakes

it just it doesn't go how you want it to go something gets in the way or whatnot and yeah

fortunately it's been great no and i think that's something we're going to we're going to pick up on

for sure is this idea that the lakes you're fishing is not just you against the fish.

And actually we're going to talk a lot about fishing pressured lakes.
