| 0:28.0 | And I want us to take some time this morning to get back into Colosians chapter 3. I've taken about a four or five day hiatus, |
| 0:36.4 | so to speak, from Colossians 3 because I wanted to talk to you about the issue of your identity in Christ. |

| 0:44.8 | Paul is saying here in Colosians 3 is based on our identity in Christ. And so I |

| 0:54.0 | so that we can understand better what he's talking about so if you haven't heard |
| 0:57.8 | the last four episodes about identity in Christ I encourage you to go back and listen to those because they are powerful, |
| 1:05.6 | they are truth from God's word to help us understand who we are. |
| 1:10.2 | So back in Colossians chapter 3, we're looking at verse 12 where Paul began saying the kinds of attitudes |
| 1:18.4 | and behaviors that flow out of understanding and living in your new identity in Jesus Christ. |
| 1:26.8 | And he has said, put on then, he's saying like clothing, put it on, put on as God's chosen ones, that's part of our identity, we are |
| 1:35.8 | chosen by God. As his holy and beloved, that's part of our identity, is that we are holy because of Jesus and we are now |

| 1:56.1 | look at a few other ones humility and meekness and patience you see those are all attitudes aren't they? Their mindsets. |

| 2:18.0 | it down where someone gives you a compliment and you say oh no no that that wasn't me that was God you know it's true |
