How is your day starting off?

I am on my second cup of coffee already. Yeah, that's okay. It's

decaf, not a lot of caffeine. There's some sugar in there, but not too much sugar and some milk.

How do you start your day? Do you start your day with coffee too? All right. Today's expression is

very, very good. It is a word sheer, sheer, s-h-e-e-er. And it's an adjective, meaning unrestrained or unmitigated. And we use it as an adverb, too, meaning completely.

So I'll give you an example. Shear happiness. complete happiness, 100% happiness, pure happiness, happiness with no restraint,

every happy feeling coming out physically, emotionally, in your eyes, in your body language,

and you're laughing. When you see a child, three years old, having a good time laughing,

that is sheer happiness. It's really nice to see, right?

It is.

I love saying sheer happiness.

When we are older, sheer happiness is, we still have it, but it's less common.

Well, the opposite, sheer terror.

Shear terror.
