latest topic.

My name is live and I host a podcast called Let's Talk About My My My

myths baby.

Every two weeks I tell you a story from ancient Greek mythology, but there's a twist.

See, I tell you in a way that reflects where we are now in the world.

I have no qualms with pointing out how ridiculous some of their stories were.

I mean, do you know how many times Zeus tricked a woman into sleeping with him by transforming

himself into various sorts of animals?

Seriously, it's weird and pretty twisted.

I also highlight the treatment of women back then.

They're so often the villains of the stories,

and it wasn't because ancient women were inherently

villainous. I tell the myths in a casual style highlighting the insanity and the

troublesome aspects while still reveling in the wonder and general

awomeness that is ancient Greek mythology.
