Summary

Parents, we wouldn't be here without them (fact) but I'm not going to pretend that everyone's relationships with their parents is perfect. Some people don't have any relationship with their parents, whilst some people consider their parents to be their best friends. Weddings have a, some would say, nasty habit of stirring up underlying issues and placing challenges in our paths when it comes to parental relationships and expectations. The funny thing is, when writing this, I wasn't even thinking about in-laws. Wedding Gods, help us! Here's thing, wedding planning and families don't always mix. I was inspired to record this episode by two podcast listeners who contacted me with parental-based questions. As I often am wonderful communications, I was touched by the openness and honesty that these two ladies gifted me in the communication. I really do feel like you are my friends all over the world and I love that you write to me in that very way. Be on your way to wedding Planning Zen with the Bridechilla Guides!
