All right. Hello, everybody. Welcome to Free Range American. We have an episode today that I'm excited for because I think we're just going to subject the audience to you and I going down a nostalgic rabbit hole, Jeremy.

I can handle it. I can handle it. But it's going to be pretty fun because you and I are the same age.

And you are an astounding filmmaker.

And I try to pride myself as a filmmaker.

So I finally have someone to talk to you about the same things that I felt inspired me growing up was someone that I think was on the same timeline.

Yeah, absolutely, man.

And, you know, I know that I was reading some, because I know that you started as a film in film, and I was reading on your bio and you started with VHS, or you started with 8 mil?

Yeah, I started with 8mm.

See, I was VHS.

Well, yes, if we go back to like when I was 10, I mean, I do have a VHS movie we made

with the whole shoulder rig that we had to edit on two VCRs.

So there was that.

And then it just, it seemed like right as I crested, eighth grade, ninth grade is when

the high school got their first Avid machine.

Got it.

And then that's when they had a capture card.

And so we went with the first eight millimeter high eight and then tried the whole camcorder plugging into the computer editing.

And that's when it all just went downhill or uphill, however we look at it.

Was it Vegas?

Is that where you used to edit to start out?

What was the, what was the, you used Avid to start.
