This week, we're having a beer and getting real with world famous Shudson trainer, Shade

Weitzel.

Shade has the exceptional qualification of being one of the only trainers out there, training

and competing successfully in her sport of Shitsund, at high levels, with excellent scores,

and all without using physical corrections.

She has a creative yet practical approach to

training, always keeping in mind what's best for the dog and for the relationship.

I might just be getting the hang of this podcasting thing. I don't want to jinx it, though.

Among other things, we talked about the challenges of training, a traditional sport like Schittsender

IPO, though neither of us could

We also talked about how our mindsets have shifted into being more comfortable with mistakes,

at least in dog training, if not in other areas of our lives, the difference between a dog who's frozen in confusion and one who's simply responding
