Hello and welcome to the American Birding Podcast from the American Birding Association. I am

0:35.7

your host, Nate Swick. It is the end of the month,

0:39.2

released. Unfortunately, that discussion is now moot as the bird died while it was being

1:34.2

transferred from the rehab center to a zoo for additional help. The zoo was seen, not incorrectly,

1:40.6

as the right place for this bird as it continued its recovery path, but it's hard to foresee

1:45.1

what could cause stress to an injured bird, and in the end, that transfer was too much. So
