And we begin this morning with the oldest judge on the nation's top court saying she's got another five years in her.

Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg is 85 and just announced that she'll try to

serve as long as John Paul Stevens, who helped decide cases until his retirement at 90.

Ms Ginsburg credits her trainer and her workout routine for keeping her fit and strong. LeBron James says his greatest accomplishment has nothing to do with basketball.

Yesterday, his Charitable Foundation opened the doors on the I Promise Charter School

in Akron, Ohio, which is aimed at helping at-risk kids who face the same inner-city challenges he faced growing up.

I Promise has a longer school day and a longer school year than most schools.

And for kids that complete the program, James has arranged free tuition at the University of Akron.

It's the middle of the summer and as often happens this time of year, there's a

mid-summer blood shortage. Because of vacations and fewer blood drives, the

Red Cross expects a shortfall of 56,000 donations worldwide and will need 13,000

donors a day to catch up.

To help out, Amazon is offering an incentive.

All blood types are needed.
