Good morning and welcome to another kid new summer noodler. I'm Kim even though we're taking a brief

breather from daily current events we're determined to keep those news neurons firing and

today we're getting help from a famous actor.

Kevin Bacon's name and his breakthrough movie, Footloose, was filmed at Payson High School in Utah 40 years ago.

That school is about to be demolished and before that happened,

students there thought he might like to pay those hall

a visit, not just on any day, fittingly on prom day.

After a successful Bacon-N-Nepason social media campaign

that included Tik-Toc recreations of the film's opening dance,

a footloose-themed musical and fundraisers for Bacon's nonprofit group,

Six Degrees.org, he agreed.

He rallied with the kids outside and even stopped at the locker he used in the movie. If you were in charge of your school, what famous person would you invite to come visit

and why?

Write a persuasive letter to that person convincing them to visit your school.

Be sure to explain why a visit from them in particular would be meaningful for the school's students

and maybe the larger community. On Wednesday, we'll be back with another noodler,
