took from the list is that librarians are under the misguided notion that we think that their job

is amazing. We don't. Nobody does. Now, a job that did not make the list is police officer.

Now, look, growing up, TV shows, movies, they make it look like you are saving the world,

saving lives, and just being an all-the-round badass.

But as I've gotten older, I realize that the uncomfortably high percentage of police work is

dealing with sweaty, naked people, hell-bent on being insufferable.

End of story.

Now, speaking of cops, an officer in the United Kingdom, he lost his job recently.

He was cited for, quote, gross misconduct.

Now, what did this horribly corrupt miscreant do to crush the public trust?

He pocketed a $5 bill that he found in a police vehicle as he was cleaning it.

The horror.
