Here again is Dr. Michael Brown.

It's right there in the Bible, black and white, on the pages of the Book of Revelation, the last book in the Bible,

the mysterious book of Revelation. But it says it very plainly, very forthrightly in the book

of Revelation chapter 21, beginning in verse 7, after giving wonderful promises of God's eternal kingdom.

Those who are victorious will inherit all this, and I will be their God and they will be my

children. But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral,

those who practice magic arts, the idolaters, and all liars, they will be consigned

to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death. The cowardly will go to hell,

along with murderers and sexually immoral people and idol worshippers. Why? Friends, this is Michael Brown. Welcome to the Line of Fire broadcast.

And this is the question we want to tackle today.

We want to confront the spirit of cowardice, which is in so much of the church today.

We want to contrast that with the call to courage, the courageous spirit,

which should be the spirit of followers of Jesus. I want to get to the root of why this is such

a serious issue, why the Bible literally says that cowards go to hell. And they're coupled with vile people, with immoral people, with murderers.
