to make better financial decisions in your life. This episode, I got some very timely advice for you

on money that you're saving, not investing. Also last week I returned from my summer vacation.

And I have some takeaways I want to share with you to protect your wallet.

So about two months ago, I told you what an opportunity there was for you to save

and bank issued or credit union issued CDs that because of the inflationary cycle,

interest rates had become so favorable for you, stashing your cash that you don't need day in

and day out. But is money that you're putting aside kind of like in a parking space, not investing

money, just saving money, the value of putting it in longer term CDs. Well now as I feared,

the interest rates on those longer term CDs has dropped, dropped, dropped. Not way down,

but it's definitely dropped. Why? Because the inflation reports have been so favorable lately.

After we went through the brutal inflationary cycle, fortunately it was short lived. And now

so many things actually are cheaper than they were a year ago. So we got back some of what was

taken from us from the peak of that inflationary cycle. Other things have stayed more expensive.
