official WWE correspondent in WIP history, actually.

Unofficially, I think Judy Mac gets that first distinction, but yes, thank you, I'm honored.

So what did you think of?

I was excited for all 1,000, I'll oftentimes watch, you know, the last hour or the second

hour or the next day on DVR, but I stayed up for this whole thing, how would you grade

it?

Well, first of all, for those people out there who don't know what it is or don't know

what it was, raw 1,000 is 1,000, it was 1,000th episode of Monday Night Raw, which is unfathomable

in terms of weekly episodic television, beating out gun smoke and the Simpsons, and I think

they always, Mr. Ed, Lassie, all sorts of shows, and it was basically the wrestling version

of the All Star game, if you would agree with that, and I would really give it four stars.

It clicked on all levels, on that initial level, on an impactful level, as you saw with

the last sort of 10 minutes of the show, and on just pure enjoyment scam, I mean there

were some cringeworthy moments, but, you know, as All Star games go, man, this had everything

I think that people wanted, except possibly Stone Cold, who was the number one sort of

face of raw over the last decade or 15 years, he was unable to make it, so that was probably

my biggest disappointment with Stone Cold, but other than that, I think it clicked on

all cylinders.

And to Stone Cold in a second, do you think over the last month they've been doing things

with alumni, with WWE alumni, and it sometimes has gone better than others, but overall it

seems like a win.
