We just had to watch a three-hour snooze fest of a pay-per-view, so we are going to dispense with all the pleasantries.

Handsome Nick Costos joined alongside the Silver King, Adam Silverstein, and the man whose name is on the

marquee, the Brian Campbell.

And Brian, after the opening tag match, Battleground had a chance to go down as the greatest

pay-per-view of all time.

And then the rest of the card happens.

Holy hell, that was terrible.

Not only was it terrible.

It was on a run not to be the worst pay-per-view of all time.

We're going to talk about 1996 W-CW Uncensored.

You want to talk about a bad pay-per-view and a bad

main event. We'll get there on the Wednesday show. But this pay-per-view, this battleground,

what a mailing job. It had a chance. And I sent out a tweet right before this Punjabi prison main

event that basically said, you know, we're on track for just ridiculousness.

And the only thing that can save it is a Punjabi prison match right now, the main event.
