One of the most inescapable issues about living in the United States is having to hear leaf blowers.

I don't know who invented leaf blowers, but clearly it is a form of torture.

I don't know if you live near a piece of property that has a leaf blower.

It's used by gardeners.

That you hear a leafblower, it's kind of hard not to.

I broadcast in the mornings, for example, for my house,

on a regular basis. And there are gardeners who come to properties that are six, eight,

10 houses down the street, and there goes the leaf blower. And I hear it through the house,

and I even have soundproofing in the room where I broadcast and I can actually

hear it. I don't know how many decibels these things are, but they are loud, loud, loud.

So you have city and states that are banning them outright or restricting blowers that run on gasoline.

And I don't know how good that does, because I have an electric leaf blower that

for some crazy reason, I bought and I rarely use because it's so damn loud. Actually, I let the

gardener use it. Then I make sure that I'm not there. And it's still ridiculously loud. Maybe not as

loud as a gas powered blower. but the laws have been changed in many

states, many cities, many counties where you can only use electric blowers because ostensibly they're
