Lavar just over the past couple of years. I've been hearing this and I never thought anything of it until there was a major tournament and it was finishing up on a Sunday. And I just like did a little research. So when you when you

think when you think of an NFL linebacker. Yeah. Like height and weight. What is what like where do we go? Like what's the like the smallest NFL linebacker you can think of.

Smallest would be like five nine five 10 to 25 to 35. But but somebody who you 45 but somebody who. Yeah. That's right. Well, that's quite the build right there.

I think I did two 45. Isn't that like London Pledger or is that how have you? They're dexter coquely. Well, you got to think about how dense them dudes are though. Oh yeah. It's like like their quads are crazy big. What was that Thomas's measurements? What are they?

I mean, you two 25. They're fire. They're fire hydrants, bro. Yeah. That's the thing about it. Like they're just there one big mass of brick.

So and you're a coach and sometimes you have to give the bad news when a player really wants to play football. Sometimes you've got to give the bad news that maybe this isn't for you. Right. I mean, I get unfortunate. I've never told anyone this isn't for you. I've just told them to.

There's different lanes on a six lane highway. Yeah. You're not in the the fast one. Right. Yeah. Yeah. It's a very diplomatic. Very diplomatic response. Yeah. That is as far to the right as possible. In fact, pretend like you blew a tire. I just, you know, we'll leave it there. All right.

So look for that exit rate. So if I if I if I tell you if I tell you I got it, if I tell you I got a kid. And this kid wants to be a linebacker. He is demanding. I'm going to be a linebacker. Okay.

And you say, all right. So what are we looking at? And I say, well, he's, you know, he's six feet tall. Okay. And anywhere between 185 to 190 or two or 185 to 200 and high school. No, no, we're like playing the NFL.

Yeah. He's fully grown. Yeah. He's full grown. Yeah. Like like 30. Okay. So we're saying this is true. This is a six foot tall man in his 30s between 205 and 200 pounds. 200 pounds.

I mean, there's so many. There's so many. That's a coach. It does that sound like a linebacker to you. It does not sound like a linebacker to me.

All right, because that's Brooks. Cap, go those are his measurements. But, but there are other aspects that could make him a successful linebacker at that.

Does that sound like a somebody who's built like a linebacker? Prototype. No, not prototype. But, but prototypes are I'll say this that that would fit a nickel, a nickel or dimebacker. Like, like almost like a hybrid safety slash linebacker.

So somebody who's big enough to make tackles because the only difference between really a safety and a linebacker is the ability to to take on blockers in the box.

Like, can you tackle? Can you get on an awful blocks? Can you can you create, you know, road blocks for the runners and stuff like that? So when you're talking about size size in today's NFL isn't going to have a problem.
