The great Brady Quinn. They did it again. Jonas. They did it again. The American League for whatever reason just dominates the national league. I don't know why is that eight in a row now eight All Star games in a row. They've dominated the national league. Yeah, it's a lot. It's a lot.

I mean, what do you draw this to at this point? Because again, you've got you've got you got stars on both sides. Okay. And I don't really understand what exactly it is. But at the end of the day, it's meaningful. And I also think again to reiterate some Rob Parker said. That was fun. Like home run Derby. They all star game. Something about baseball in the way they do it is better than anything else in professional sports. Yeah. And I think part of that is and he alluded to this a little bit.

He's a real baseball game without having to risk injuries. You know what I mean, like you can't you go to the Pro Bowl unless you're Sean Taylor and you're looking to just blow torch. What was it? Was it Brian Mormon? The Ponder for the Bill's. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It's like his head off. Yeah, just, I mean, completely blowtorched him at the Pro Bowl unless you're Sean Taylor. Nobody really goes after it like that in the NBA defenses optional. And the NHL. They score way too many goals. But in Major League base

ball in their all star game, it's the closest resemblance to an actual baseball game. And so I think that's why it's the best. And look, I didn't mind back when they had it to where Home Field Advantage went to the winner in the World Series. Actually, didn't mind it all that much to be honest with you. I know a lot of people hated it. And they thought it was an overreaction because one year finish in a tie. But I didn't I didn't mind it. What I what I did mind a last hour, the awful uniforms. Just absolutely.

I was wondering when you're going to get to those. I mean, I feel like Nike tried their best to make it cool. They made it something that you out there. There's a little as the listener now has to look at and go buy and spend more money on. In reality, I think they need to go back and just letting them wear their own uniforms, putting a cool patch on there. And go that's always been the tradition. I feel like that is what makes it cool. Makes it look best. Yeah, because you can recognize your team. Your guys out there. And the one thing baseball has always done is where, you know, the each team's got to have a room.

And it's like, when you watch the pro bowl back in the day, they all had those pro bowl uniforms, the NFC, but it was the helmets. Seeing those helmets. It's like in all star games. And you've got other other teams patches on other teams logos and stickers on your helmet. Like there's something to it.

I come up with this like special all star had and this all man, no, like who the hell is buying that? You know what I mean? Like, like, who's out there going, man, I really got to get my hands on one of those Buffalo blue J's hats. I got to get my hands on one of those. Now you asked a question. And I knew that this was going to be a question. You were going to ask about the AL dominance. And so I had a couple of couple of ways that I could have gone about this. Right. Now I could have told the truth and said, I have no idea why I don't know why the AOs dominating. I don't know why they've won.

Eight years in a row or whatever it is. You know, I could do that. Or I could do what typical sports talk radio hosts do and try and break down some of the numbers and advantages. And you know, like the PS. I like this. It could have done that. Or I could do what we do. Right.

So there are three options. I could I could just sit here and tell the truth and say, I don't know. I could blow, like a typical sports talk radio hosts and try and come up with some sort of numbers reason as to why it happens. Or I could do what we do.

I'm going to go with option three. Yeah. I'm going to say stick with what we do. Yeah. The reason the AOs dominating is because they're better at cheating than the NL.

Right. We'll just go right there. Listen, there is. Who do the ASTRO's play for the American League or the National? That's right. That's right. They've been able to spread it throughout the locker room to everyone what's going on. Okay.

And listen to there were some, you know, some people thought that maybe other Red Sox in 2018 might have had some stuff going on there. That's an AL team. So, you know, I'm not saying I have any actual proof of this outside of what the ASTRO's were doing.

But I just, I do find it a little bit coincidental that the AOs dominating. And so I'm just going to go with option C. What we do, which is there just better at cheating in the National League.

And I'll roll with that. And you got a problem with that in the American League. Screw you. I couldn't care less. I have zero problem with it because obviously they're winning. That's all that matters. And it seems to be like we're willing to overlook all of it. I'm just glad the spider tack. All right.

And he's sticky substance wasn't a part of the All Star game. Thank you, Major League Baseball. For at that point, just saying we're going to pump the brakes on this in the All Star game. No one has to get naked on the mound during that they're ining or two innings in which they're going to pitch to showcase whether or not they have any spider tack. So thank you, Major League Baseball for that.

He Vlad Guerrero Jr. Hit a bomb. Absolute bomb. And he is the, it's the third father son combo to Homer in an All Star game. You got the Guerrero's, you got the bonds is, you got the griffies.

But I do think that his was less impressive than his father's back in the day when he homered. And I want to know if you can guess why.

I want to know. Well, I again, I've got some, I've got some areas I can go. I mean, there's that dad strength, you know, where you get to a certain age, want to challenge your dad. And no matter what you do, he's just stronger than you, even when he looks feeble, even when he doesn't look as strong as you, he's got what's called dad strength.

And you know what that means now me being a father granted. I don't have a son, but I have daughters. And when they started like, you know, try to wrestle around and play.

What you realize is is you feel the sense of power over them because you created them. Okay.
