I have been looking forward to today's interview for quite a few weeks now since we have set it up.

Two massive volumes,

well over 1,300 pages, carefully annotated, researched. The new study on universalism,

which one reviewer says, the definitive treatment of Christian universalism for years to come.

It is called the devil's redemption, a A New History and Interpretation of Christian Universalism

by Professor Michael McCleman.

In fact, we've talked face-to-face.

We've interacted a lot by email, but I don't know that I have pronounced his name correctly.

So, he is the author of a number of award-winning books, including, let's see,

encounters with God an approach to the theology of Jonathan Edwards. He is professor of modern

history at St. Louis University and has done massive research into universalism, the doctrine that comes in different forms,

but ultimately teaches that everybody is eventually saved, in some cases, even the devil himself.

We're going to talk about the history of this, how far back it goes in the church.

We're going to talk about contemporary forms of this.
