2019 and we begin with 15 year old tennis phenom Coco Golf trying to extend her

Cinderella run at Wimbledon.

At 10 a.m. Eastern time this morning, she'll face her toughest test yet.

Former Number 1, Simona Halep.

Coco reached today's fourth round with a high drama,

three set comeback victory over the weekend.

At one point, her on-court excitement was the number one trending topic on Twitter.

Compare that to Men's Player Bernard Tomich, who's getting attention for all the wrong reasons.

Wimbledon has fined the Australian $56,000 for not trying hard enough in his match against a Frenchman.

The game lasted just 58 minutes, the

shortest match there in 15 years.

Tommich didn't run for balls, frequently hit into the net, and according to the

referee, simply did not meet professional standards.

No such problem with the U.S. Women's National Soccer team.

Yesterday the ladies dominated the pitch to clinch their fourth World Cup and their second in a row by taking down the Netherlands 2 to 0.

The goals for Team USA were scored by two women whose status for the game had been questionable.

Megan Rapino drilled a penalty kick, becoming at 34, the oldest player to score in a World Cup

final.

Her goal was followed with won by Rose Lavelle who like Rapino had been struggling with a

hamstring injury. The Americans never trailed in the tournament and set records

with 26 total goals and a 12-game World Cup winning streak dating back to 2015.
