Good afternoon fellow investors and welcome to Invest Talk. This is our

Thursday July 2nd 2020 edition of Invest Talk and I know it's Thursday but the week at least from a trading

perspective is over so we close the week going into the long 4th of July weekend

I hope everyone has some hopefully exciting plans. You know, it's been a rough year.

I know here in California, at least in Orange County, they shut down all the the beaches which I'm not happy about but

hopefully everyone stays safe and you know this is a different world different

world that we are operating in and it takes a lot to unpack all of

the news that's coming out as not just from the coronavirus but the you're seeing different very wide numbers from month

over month, week over week versus year over year,

right?

We're still down a lot year over year.

There are certain high frequency data points that point to growth, week over week, month over month,

and in a lot of ways that's looking good in other ways not so good so definitely not a mixed reports and

now with the resurgence and I call this a continuation really of Wave 1, right? A lot of the places that got hit hard,

New York for example, they're not getting that first, or that wave, right, that second wave. It's a lot of areas that never really had a strong first

wave. And so how will these communities deal with that? It's going to be shut down

again, partial, and I think that will be the crucial

factor in the near term along with what comes out of Washington. We know that the enhanced unemployment benefits end at the end of this month.
