I am Father Gregory Pine and I'm joined here by Father Patrick Briscoe chiming in from Providence, Rhode Island.

So Providence is entering into its long eight month season, known affectionately as winter,

alternately known as hell.

How are things up there in province, Father Patrick?

Yeah, we're just around the corner from February.

So, that's me.

No, the leaves have been more muted this year by people who know stuff about this kind of thing.

They tell me it's because there was a drought this summer.

I was sort of intrigued to find out there was a drought this summer.

I mean like I knew they were, I knew there were big fires in California,

that's been something that I've been praying about actually, seriously.

But I do not realize that there was a local drought and now now it's the talk now. It's the subject of much discussion

Everyone's talking about oh there was a drought that's why the leaves have not changed you know and as are not as remarkable in their color.

And so I just sort of nod my head as if I knew something about this.

Also, not being in New England or the leaves are not that important to me.

I have, however, I have however embraced ice coffee and I drink it even when it's cold out

which upon my arrival in New England I I thought was an insane thing.

But it turns out is actually quite pleasant.
