Summary
Randy's Donuts has been an LA icon for nearly 60 years! You know it, it's the building with the giant doughnut on top featured in countless movies, music videos, and television, such as Arrested Development, Crocodile Dundee, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers' "Californication" music video.
But when I noticed them opening up more locations, I instinctively got concerned for the future of Randy's and needed to make sure it was in good hands!
In this episode, I was relieved to chat with Tom Bartsch, Randy's vice president of marketing and development, and get the full story. We talk about the history of Randy's Donuts, the sale of the business, how they're staying true to the brand, the brothers that are still involved, and the future franchise and expansion of Randy's!
