We went to Array Headquarters, Array is Ava's production arm located near the heart of downtown Los Angeles and we sat down with her and

talk to her about the splendid limited series that she has on Netflix right now

5 both how these young black boys were a course into confessions involving

the crime that they did I commit, put through the criminal justice system spat out by society,

but more importantly, how they reclaim their lives, their dignity, how they survived and thrived in the face of overwhelming societal

injustice. It is just a brilliant, brilliant piece of art and I sincerely to the depths of my soul hope that everyone takes the time to watch it. It is not my friends an easy watch. Hell no, it is not an easy watch.

If there's one shred of decency in your entire body, you will be ripped apart by the images that you see on the screen and grounded in the fact that they actually happen

it makes them more difficult to actually take in. But still, it's something that you

must do. It's entertaining, it's riveting, and in the end it's liberating as odd as that might seem we talked to her about that

We talked to her about something she doesn't like she doesn't like she doesn't like being called auntty. The unty stuff got to stop.

Ava not fucking with that. Okay? We also discussed her career both past, present and

future and you and how she sees the larger view of society through the eyes of

Aver Duverne.
