0:34.2	going to look at that from the lips of our Lord Jesus Christ. Well welcome
0:40.5	back to the show episode 64 you know 64 is a really important number
0:46.6	in Catholic history because it was the year in which there was the great fire of Rome happened on July 18th in the year of
0:56.0	our Lord 64 and this prompted the Emperor Nero to begin his great persecution of Christians in Rome.
1:07.0	This was the persecution, pardon me,
1:10.9	in which St. Peter, the Apostle, the first pope, was martyred, executed, and also
1:17.5	Saint Paul. This was when things got really bad for Christians. This is also the time period when
1:26.4	most likely St. Peter wrote his first epistle, First Peter. So 64 remember that year it's a big one in Catholic history a lot of our
1:37.0	brothers and sisters in Christ became martyrs in that year 64.
