As we are all self-quarantined, it's easy to get discouraged and give way to fear.

However, today Paul wants to encourage you to focus on gratitude in this season of uncertainty.

Here's Paul.

When you're in crisis, it's very easy to think more about the crisis than anything else.

To wake up every morning, the first thing you do is you get up on your phone, you want to find the next stats,

you want to find out how many cases of COVID-19 are in your state or in your town or what's the global

predictions.

You want to read the latest expert and what

they have to say about the continuation of this scary thing.

The problem with that is that you can develop a heart habit where you're

trouble meditating, problem meditating and God forgetting.

And when you do that, the trouble looms larger and larger

and God seems smaller and smaller, and the result of that is fear.

I'm talking about that paralyzing, panic-producing, anxiety resulting fear.

And so I want to encourage you with this, that a powerful weapon, maybe the best weapon against fear, is gratitude.

Now, when we're giving a heart to gratitude, we're not denying reality.

What we're doing is we're looking at reality through the lens of all the things for which we should be thankful.

And I'm going to encourage you to start vertically.

First, think of God.

Give thanks for who He is, his holiness, his power, his faithfulness,
