Hello and welcome to episode 64 of connecting with Walt. I am your

host and is historian Michael Bowling and I am joined by my co-host, producer, and good friend Craig

Williams. So Craig, how are you today? I'm not too shabby. How are you, Michael? I'm doing well,

thank you. So have you, Michael? I'm doing well, thank you.

So have you recovered from Don Hahn last week?

Oh, yeah. Yeah, absolutely. I've recovered a little bit emotionally, but mentally.

I'm still slightly frazzled. Physically physically it never really affected me in any way but

gosh it was I still am in that state of disbelief that it happened at all so it's it was just wonderful

listening to him talk and having having the chance to have a little bit of a longer conversation with him

off the record about his his works and some of the things that I really I really respect that

he's done and it's it really was just an absolute dream he was the nicest person he is you know

when you and I were talking before the show,

it's just so nice when people that, whose work we admire and respect, turn out to be as nice

as you hope they are. You know, we're talking about, you know, Jody Benson has been the several

dis events. And you, you couldn't ask her to be nicer and sweeter.

You know, I mean, she's sweeter than the little mermaid is.

And to find out that Don Hahn is the same way.
