Today's expression, I like it.

It's a noun, and it usually refers to men, but I guess it could refer to women to.

Old timer.

That guy's an old timer.

He's an old timer.

An old timer, O-L-D timer old timer oh l d dash t i m e r we use it as one word but

there's a hyphen there's a dash in the middle old d dash t i m er old timer so what is an old-timer? An old-timer is a guy. It could be a woman, but especially

we use it with a guy who is old or experienced. So if you have a grandfather, my grandfather passed away. My grandfathers, they're dead.

But they, you know, they lived until, I think it was 2006. My grandpa was born. One of my

grandpas was born in 1922. So that would make him what? 78, 84.

Yeah.

So he lived until he was 84 years old.

And when he was 84, you know that he was an old timer.

He's an old timer.

He's an old man.

He's seen a lot of history, has a lot of experience. He's an old man. He's seen a lot of history, has a lot of experience. He's an old timer.

But you know what? Even me, even Coach Shane. I'm an old timer. Now, my age, I'm 48. Is that old?
