Summary

The folks who worked at mission control are often clouded behind the astronauts they worked with. But the reality is that none of NASA's storied accomplishments would have been possible without these people. Join Rick Houston and I in this episode as he shares exactly what it was like to be in mission control!

Rick served as an associate producer and consultant on the documentary film "Mission Control: The Unsung Heroes of Apollo". That project was inspired by Rick's most recent book, "Go, Flight! The Unsung Heroes of Mission Control". More recently, Rick served as a technical advisor and extra on the set of the film, First Man, on legendary Apollo 11 astronaut Neil Armstrong.
