Today, I'm going to be talking about different ways in which you could invest cash or where to keep

cash. And then I'll talk about various different, what I'll call alternative investments.

So the last few episodes we talked about what we can label traditional investments, stocks, bonds, mutual funds,

and exchange traded funds, now is other things in which you can invest.

And this won't be a comprehensive list.

It'll be sort of the usual suspects of alternative investments.

And then finally, next week I will wrap with, I'm going to leave it at six parts to this intro to investing series.

Next week, part six will be a capstone, if you will, pulling together general portfolio

management considerations, how to think about putting together a portfolio, what to invest in,

how much in each, what to consider, etc.,

to hopefully tie this all together to give you something to walk away with.

That's not just a list of different investment types, but actually some info about how to try

to do something with the knowledge.
