This ship is very sleek.

It was launched July of 2008. It's one of their signature class ships. There's only one more ship like that, and that is the new Amsterdam right now. The ship, she's 935 feet long and holds just over 2,100 passengers. We're on deck 11 right now in the crow's nest, surrounded by a lot of the very important crew members. We're going to talk to the hotel manager. Also, we talked to the captain before we left St. Thomas this morning, so we'll play that interview a little bit later on. But first, the guy who keeps things really rolling along here with all the entertainment, the cruise director, Jason Venter. Welcome to Cruise Radio. Thank you very much. Glad to be here. Jason, let me ask you, where are you from? Portland, Oregon. How does one go from Portland to the Eurodamp? Well, Holland America Lines based out of Seattle. And so when I was graduating from college, I figured, hey, let's get out of town, travel around for six months, and that was almost nine years ago. What separates Holland America from the other cruise lines?
