I had a question about memory loss.

Yes. And you know, I do feel that Jody Arish, he didn't really have that amnesia that she talks about.

However, I had a trouble childhood, you know, abuse of childhood and I used

blocking my memories for to cope. So I don't remember...

So let's do this.

There's several really interesting sort of topics you bring up here.

One is you hang this question on Jody Arias and she claims that in a moment of extreme emotion, she blacked out. She

blacked out and that does happen and I've seen it a lot with patients,

particularly who have previous trauma

that they will gray out or black out or red out they'll just say they just

do nothing and then all of a sudden you know kind of come to but they usually come to

within a few minutes so this business of as she's saying I'm in a fog I don't know

where that was convenient.

She probably has some vague quality of what went on and had some foginess but

far different than what she presented in court.

Losing long-term memory is something that people have when they're in chronic distress.
