I wanted to take a moment before we launch

into today's show, which is, of course, Surf News with Scott Bass. I just wanted to take a moment

to kind of bring you, the listener, up to speed on behind the scenes, what's going on with Surf Splendor.

We pretty much just post episodes every week

and just kind of keep content fresh is the ultimate idea. But I wanted to let you know just

that there's, I got kind of exciting and big plans for 2015 and nothing real specific that's

worth discussing other than just I think there'll be a more

diverse kind of platform or diverse variety of topics, let's say, some kind of in-depth reporting

or more journalistic approach, I guess, to certain shows. And of course, we plan to

incorporate the same shows that we do now, the profile pieces and the surf news pieces, because

those are the bread and butter and those have been successful. But I'll start layering in, I think,

a little bit more nuanced pieces, maybe more production value kind of on my end, I guess, is what it really comes down to.

I've got ideas and things that are in the works and interviews lined up and all that sort of thing.
