Now I want to play something for you.

Around the mid-80s, videos that you had made started to circulate, drum videos. And this was like viral before the internet really took off.

These videos were all over the place.

All these drummers were trying to copy what you were doing or some of them were just influenced by you.

And, you know, I guess your style is relatable to lots of people and impressive to lots of people.

You're definitely capable of subtlety, but at the time, people were drawn to the amazing technical virtuosity that you had on display.

How did that affect your life, like once the video started taking off?

Well, you know, when people talk about it, you know, I kind of like, you know, me being honest again, you know, I always try to tell them, look, it's not, you're

focusing on one, one person, and the guy that you're focusing in on, you know, it's just happened
