Join Bryan Dean Wright, former CIA Operations Officer, as he breaks down today’s biggest stories shaping America and the world.

Chinese Mobsters Running Illegal Pot Grows Tied to Communist Party – A new investigation reveals deep links between Chinese nationals running illegal marijuana operations in Maine and the Chinese Communist Party. The operations, near U.S. military sites, raise fears of espionage, sabotage, and covert influence campaigns.

Trump Admin Expands “Cash for Departure” Program – Migrants who voluntarily leave the U.S. could receive $1,000 under a new DHS policy aimed at reducing deportation costs. Inspired by Sweden’s $34,000 offer to migrants, the move tests whether financial incentives can reverse illegal immigration trends.

Sweden’s Migration Crisis Turns Violent – Three killed in a gang shootout in a Swedish barbershop, highlighting escalating violence linked to foreign gangs like Foxtrot and Rumba. Sweden’s PM blames failed integration and vows mass removals.

Middle East on Edge: Israel Readies for Full Gaza Occupation – Netanyahu signals a ten-day deadline for Hamas to make peace, or face total military takeover of Gaza. Israeli forces also escalate strikes on Houthis in Yemen, Hezbollah in Lebanon, and regime targets in Syria.

Ukraine Drone Boats Shoot Down Russian Jets – In a historic first, Ukrainian sea drones fire U.S.-supplied missiles to down two Russian fighter jets. The Pentagon responds by fast-tracking a $36B drone overhaul for the U.S. Army.

AI Calls for Grandma: New App Replaces Family Phone Time – A $25/month AI service now phones the elderly daily, checks on their mood, and reports back to families. Bryan explores the ethics, surveillance risks, and sad realities of replacing human connection with artificial friends.

A good day to you, ladies and gentlemen, welcome to The Right Report, Your Daily News, podcast.

Grab those maps and let's go around the globe this morning for news that's shaping America and the world.

0:29.0

First up, we start in the U.S. state of Maine.

0:32.6

The Daily Caller reports that a group of Chinese men who were arrested a couple of years ago for an illegal

0:37.6

marijuana operation in that state, they have deep ties to the Communist Party and Beijing's

0:43.2

spy services. More details on this case in just a second, but it certainly raises the specter

0:48.5

this morning of what exactly these men and their workers are really doing in this country or what

0:53.7

they could be forced

0:54.5

to do if China's intel agencies tell them to do it. And that could include anything from

0:59.5

surveillance to sabotage to poisoning some of the 17.7 million Americans who consume cannabis

1:05.9

products every day and they get their supply often unwittingly from these Chinese growers. It's an issue,

1:12.8

folks, that we first covered back on May 29th of last year. That's when I took you from Maine to California,

1:18.4

from Oregon to Oklahoma, where Chinese mobs are moving into states all across this country,

1:23.4

after voters decriminalized marijuana use for either recreational or medical purposes.

1:28.9

Now, on the surface, the reason for that, that is, of course, that these Chinese mobsters are coming to this country,

1:34.1

it's pretty simple. Money. In Oklahoma, for example, the illegal marijuana market there is valued at billions of dollars a year,

1:41.5

with 80% of that now controlled by Chinese mobs.

1:45.6

You may remember that Oklahomans were and are outraged by that, which prompted crackdowns

1:50.5

by state officials, but Chinese American cultural associations and nonprofits in the state

1:55.1

said that they and their marijuana businesses were being targeted only because they're Asian.

2:02.4

They also warned that without their presence in entrepreneurial spirits, places like Oklahoma would just wither away, which takes
