We've had a lot of interesting conversations so far this morning I think we let off at one point talked about Andre the giant I'm not going to get into that but just small hotel rooms small bathrooms that sort of thing.

We've covered the fact that I still don't really understand this whole you know deliver to your home a meal that you make right like I feel like who in the who who's going to do that that often enough instead of just going to the grocery store.

I'm just buying your own stuff or or just ordering delivery I mean I just feel like that like middle ground is somewhere like I don't want to participate I'm either all in or all out right so I'm either ordering delivery I'm on making my own meal but a lot of weird conversations going on so far this morning well I mean it's what we do man you know there's a lot of the you know the untouchable discussions that many people are afraid to have we're not we will have those discussions on the air.

Much like the on rated the giant discussion and for those you missed that discussion it's you know you can find it in the podcast it's even the fact that like when you're watching these NBA games right and players on the bench have to wear masks but not the fans necessarily in the stadium or the arena but yeah there's like those conversations that don't make much logical sense right like I just I don't get it man I really don't get it at this point it is it is a little bit

puzzling here is what I would say though Brady Quinn you called your shot on something and I was a little bit dismissive you know not because I necessarily completely disagree with you just because I'm dismissive of you in general just as in a rule of thumb just you know be and I think that's what we do that's really how we compliment each other is by not complimenting each other

if it's not an insult we're not speaking that's usually how this goes here on Fox Sports Radio and we've been doing this long enough to know this is a ball busting extraordinaire here between the two of us but you did call your shot on something and I gotta give you credit because they Hall of Famers weighed in and he also agrees with you

and he was a great pro-toy ackman great broadcaster for Fox he was you know he was having a discussion about Tom Brady and so Troy Ackman appeared on the Flying Coach podcast and he was talking about a comment that Tom Brady made last month when it came to OTA's when it came to you know players getting out there and Tom Brady came out and was very vocal and said you know we shouldn't have over the

competitive drills in May and June there's no bleep in pro baseball player that's throwing 95 miles an hour in the middle of December and so Troy Ackman talked about how he was surprised to hear Tom Brady say that that he was surprised to see those words come from Tom Brady

and then he caught himself and he said and then he realized that was the greatness of Tom Brady because he knows him well and he knows he's not taking any of those days off and that that would be in essence a competitive advantage

I gotta give you credit because you called it at the time you said Tom Brady's full of it there's no shot in hell that this guy is not taking a full advantage of this opportunity to get those guys together into work so while he's encouraging everybody else to stand their ground and don't get prepared for the season a little bit of a a a secret strategy maybe that was not so much of a secret to you when it came to Tom Brady getting prepared all credit to you you called it and Troy Ackman agrees

well this isn't unique to Tom Brady this isn't his original thought this is the new England way this is Bill Belichek this is any coach that you know I've been with since they left New England whether that was Charlie wise Josh

Daniels from your canal Eric Man Genie I mean go down then list you know what this is is it's really a way of negotiation right like that's what the players are negotiating for and they're trying to get

the less workouts in the office isn't so forth and what Tom Brady is doing is advocating for it because he know he knows he can take advantage of it it's no different when Bill Belichek goes to the competition rules committee

and wants to have something that's more definitive in the rule book or wants them to look at doing something different in the past for a new rule he's doing it because he's got an intent behind that

he knows how he's already going to handle the new rules proposing or the change that they're making he already knows so this isn't anything new this has always been how Bill Belichek and I think a lot of the coaches that have come there he's got a lot of smart coaches a lot of smart people and it's what you do when you when you make something defined in whether it's a rule regulation law whatever the case is you're looking for a way to try to take advantage of it while others aren't that's your

competitive advantage and that's what would this would be in this case the weird thing is though I mean this is how cutthroat it is is Tom Brady's doing it really utilizing the rest of his union like he's pushing for this from like the players perspective it's not as if like the NFL PA and the union is trying to get one over on the owners or the NFL

he's doing this to his own kind man which is just goes to show you that he's ruthless like he's the ultimate competitor there's a reason why he's been so successful but clearly there's an intent behind his push for this because as you said as we talked about a month ago in this first came out

we already saw breaking into fields during covid and Tampa and getting escorted off like that was one of the first headlines that came out of the the Tampa Bay media was that Tom Brady got kicked out of a park for working out during covid when he wasn't supposed to be I mean this thing is
