Love requires risk. Risk requires courage.

Many of us make plans. And many of those plans don’t end up working out the way that we had expected. Fortunately, God calls us to be courageous even when things don’t work out as we had expected.

0:05.3	You know, maybe you actually, you are a person who is a planner.
0:07.6	Basically, those people who are planners, they figured out what you wanted, right?

0:18.0	You have a goal and you have a way to get to that goal.

0:20.6	So, I was thinking about this because last weekend we had dramas up in Duluth and thousands

0:28.0	Like, what other than that goal is a goal time or just I want to finish the race, but

0:32.6	I'm going to run at this pace.
0:33.6	I'm going to hydrate like this.
0:34.6	I'm going to refuel myself like this.
0:36.7	There's a goal.
0:37.7	There's a plan.
0:38.7	In fact, there are people who come to, I work at UMD, right?
0:41.8	So I'm a chaplain there for the last, I don't know, thousand years.
0:44.5	And students will arrive.
0:46.3	A lot of times they'll arrive with a goal.
0:47.4	Like, I want to be done in three years.
