0:41.6	So inflation is something that you got to be of a certain age to have lived through

0:53.5	So I'm thinking about what that age would be because we're roughly 40 years out of the
1:00.1	last cycle of ugly inflation.
1:03.2	So really anybody younger than 55 doesn't really relate to it.
1:11.3	And that's most Americans are younger than 55.
1:16.3	And the truth is the inflation we went through in that era was significantly worse than
1:23.8	what we're experiencing right now and had factors that were much harder to control.
1:30.7	Our inflation right now is for so many oddball reasons all coming together at once that
1:38.6	it's leading to distortions in the market that are very unusual.
1:45.2	And in the midst of some things going up, up, up and away, others are on deep discount.
1:53.2	It's the craziest thing if you go to stores, watch ads, look at websites, how many things
2:01.2	are so heavily marked down right now with deals galore while other categories we're seeing
2:10.4	this really high inflation.
