And we begin with, it's a bird, it's a plane, nope, it's a drone, dropping off some library books.

That's the brainchild of one librarian

in the Montgomery County School District in Virginia.

Kelly Passick was worried that kids wouldn't get to read much

with schools and libraries closed most of the

spring.

So she contacted Wing, the first drone delivery service to be certified by the FAA, and it's been

delivering small packages in Virginia for about a year.

But this is the first time anywhere in the world that drones are being used to deliver

library books. The service starts this week and the 600 students who are eligible will have plenty

of time to enjoy the books. They won't be due back until school resumes in the fall.

If you have a bike, consider yourself lucky.

Families going stir crazy inside their homes, commuters leery of using public transit,

and fitness buffs locked out of gyms are all clamoring for pedal power.

For months now, mass retailers like Walmart and Target report being swept clean of their supply,

and independent bike shops say they're also overwhelmed with orders.

Another reason it's so hard to find bikes in the US right now, 90% come from China

where production shut down and is only just now resuming.
