Today is Monday, June 14, 2021, and we begin with a whale of a tail,

or perhaps a story too fishy to believe.

A lobster diver off the coast of Cape Cod, Massachusetts, says he was doing his thing,

35 feet underwater, when everything suddenly went black and he was being squeezed on all sides.

At first, Michael Packard thought he was in the jaws of a shark,

but soon realized he couldn't feel any teeth and began to struggle.

30 seconds later, the humpback whale that supposedly tried to swallow him whole,

threw him back up. While some long-time fisherman aren't buying it,

Michael's lobster ring partner says he saw the beast surface, shake its head,

and his friend come flying out.
