I, on College Basketball Podcast, where we sometimes discuss camel fighting and leaky

black man. Norlanda is here with me and big College Basketball News this week from

our friend and colleague, Dennis Dodd. Here are, if you missed it, the first few sentences

from Dodd's story, publish Wednesday afternoon at CBS Sports dot com. At least six Division

One men's basketball programs will receive notices of allegations for level one violations

from the NCAA by the summer, stemming from the federal government's recently completed

investigation of the sport. A top NCAA official told CBS Sports, stay in Wilcox, NCAA Vice President

for regulatory affairs said to high profile programs would receive notices of allegations

by early July. The remaining four would be rolled out later in the summer in what was

described as a wave of NCAA investigations meant to clean up major college basketball.

And then there's a quote from Stan Wilcox. It reads this way, there's even another group

of cases that were still working on the main thing is that we're up and ready. We're moving

forward and you'll see consequences in quote. Now, obviously we'll get to what this means

for a specific program soon enough. But big picture here's what it means, I think. What

it means is that if you're somebody and there's a lot of you who has spent the much of the

past couple of years yelling the NCAA isn't going to do anything, it now looks like you're

wrong because what we have here is an NCAA Vice President on the record saying the NCAA

is about to levy serious allegations at at least six programs and two high profile ones

are going to get it in early July. Notice of allegations level one violations. Obviously,

whether the charges will hold up and the extent to which these programs will eventually be
