we're going to answer a lot of questions for you, and a lot of things are going to fall into place.

So, to the Jew first, does God show favoritism when he says that in the word in Romans 116?

I want to open up the scriptures, help give you deeper insights, and look at why God

chose the Jewish people. In fact, let's start there in Deuteronomy Chapter 7. Deuteronomy

Chapter 7, because if you say that the Jewish people have been chosen, if you said that the Jewish

people have been specially called, they could easily produce pride. And certainly at times it has

produced pride, just like various Christian theologies have produced pride in us. That can happen.

But when we rightly understand God's callings, these things produce humility

rather than pride. So, Deuteronomy 7, verse 1, when the Lord your God brings you into the lander

entering to possess, and he drives out many nations before you, the Hittites, Gergesites,

Samarites, Canaanites, Parasites, Hivites, and Jebusites. Seven nations more numerous and

powerful than you. And when the Lord your God delivers them over to you and you defeat them, you must

completely destroy them. Make no treaty with them. Children, no mercy. So this is Deuteronomy right at the

end of the wilderness wanderings as the children of Israel are ready to take the promised land.
